Fitness Classes Resume Tomorrow

The Margaret River Recreation Centre will begin a phased re-opening tomorrow, Tuesday 19 May with Group Fitness classes starting at 6am.

The re-opening is in line with the State Government’s phase two easing of restrictions and it is important that our patrons work with our team to ensure that this is conducted in a safe and measured way.

A new online class booking system has been introduced and it is essential that you pre-book your classes, as a maximum of 20 people are allowed to participate in each session.

We kindly ask all patrons attending group fitness  “To Get In, Train, Get Out” so that our team can clean and get ready for the next class.

Please be remind that the showers and changerooms will remain closed during Phase 2.

It goes without saying that social distancing rules are still in place and must be adhered to. Remember to practise good personal hygiene and remain vigilant about the potential spread of COVID-19.

The Aquatic centre is planned to re-open in the coming days but the creche and gym will remain closed until Phase 3.

We are pleased to re-open fitness to our community and hope to see all our members back in the coming weeks.
