Fitness classes

ABT: A special version of the classic ABT (abs, butts, thighs) class. Lots of fresh ideas combined with classics to keep you energised and toned.

Aqua: A fun, total body workout in shallow and deep water. Great for all ages, fitness levels and swimming abilities. *Aqua Express 45 mins.

Bootcamp: This 45-minute session is perfect for the time poor. A solid workout with maximum results in minimal time. Prepare to run, jump and move your body in ways you never thought possible.

Boxing Circuit: This incorporates your favourite boxing moves and the best circuit exercises for an all over workout. Alternating between boxing combinations and circuit stations gets your heart rate pumping.

Circuit: A whole body conditioning class based in the gym incorporating equipment for muscle strengthening, endurance and cardio.

Freestyle Cardio: Get your heart pumping to freestyle choreographed routines to all your old favourite tunes and the latest in fitness beats. This class will improve your strength, stamina and release feel-good endorphins.

Les Mills Bodypump™: A full body barbell workout that will burn calories, shape and tone, increase core strength and improve bone health. You’ll leave feeling challenged and motivated.

Les Mills RPM™: A fun, low impact group indoor cycling workout. With great music pumping and the group riding as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

Metafit™: A high-intensity workout including a series of body-weight exercises with interval style training, designed to keep your body burning calories after your training session is complete.

MetaPWR™: A metabolic resistance workout combining bodyweight and weighted compound exercises with little rest to maximise calorie burn and increase the metabolic rate during and after the workout.

Pilates: A mind and body workout developing core strength, muscle toning, flexibility and breath work.

Slow Flow Yoga: The postures in this class are gentle and flowing, conducted at a slow, steady pace. This allows time to explore as you slowly transition from one posture to the next using slow, deep breaths to cultivate your strength, flexibility and calm.

Supervised Rehab: A low intensity session in the Hydro Pool with individualised programs for people needing rehabilitation. Perfect for pre-surgery and post-surgery recovery. Available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings by appointment. Phone 9780 5625 for more information.

Thump Boxing™: Boxing drills and combinations paired with cardio and strength exercises provide a whole body workout. Get ready to punch, kick and knee your way to a stronger, fitter you.

Yoga: This class will explores breath control, body symmetry and relaxation while improving balance, coordination and posture. *Yin Yoga is a slow-paced form focused on passive floor poses for circulation and flexibility.

ZUU™: A full body workout based on primal movements to increase mobility, flexibility and strength. Crawl like a bear, squat like a frog and much more! This class is all about putting people first and exercise second so come along and ‘Do what you can’.

Teen

Teen Gym: A great way to begin lifelong fitness habits. Our fabulous staff will personally tailor a program to suit your needs and assist you to achieve your goals.

Over 50s

Supermovers: A gym circuit for the more mature adult emphasising strength, balance and flexibility.

Strength for Life™: A gym-based time slot for older, active adults endorsed by COTA for progressive strength training. A medical clearance and appraisal appointment is required prior to starting. Available in Augusta, 8.30am to 9.30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
